A snow-filled “Howdy!”
This picture came across Mr. Lyons’ virtual desk via e-mail from a friend. We could not believe how much this inquisitive kitty looks like our Zorro. I hope you’re enjoying this wintry season as much as these three friendly guys (okay, we know the doe is a girl!) :-) Larissa

A beautiful holiday greeting card by the wonderfully talented EKDuncan.  I met Evelyn earlier this year when I was researching Regency fashions for one of my stories. She’s taken the time to upload many complete years of Ackermann fashion plates and to present those on her blog.
On this particular post, she even talks about my recent Regency release, Miss Isabella Thaws a Frosty Lord. Check out her website when you get a chance but be warned — it’s addictive!

I’ve been on a Christmas novella reading kick lately. All three stories in this book were terrific. The Christmas Visit

Woot! My latest cover for one of my absolute favorite stories I’ve ever written (if not the absolute favorite!): Miss Isabella Thaws a Frosty Lord.
The revised, expanded story will be released later in December so stay tuned. For now, let’s bask in the sweet goodness of having a cover artist perfectly match an author’s vision. :-) I’m positively delighted!

The Love Knot by Elisabeth Fairchild. Another 5-star read from my keeper shelf. Here’s what I wrote when I read the book in the 90s: “A bit of a slow/confusing start for the first few pages then this book really took off. Great interaction and dialogue between the two main characters. Also a different sort of hero. Excellent book.”
Hmmm, reading my review now makes me want to reread the entire book and see what I think all over again. :-) Larissa

This is one of those images I cannot get out of my mind. I can feel the cool raindrops on my skin as I gaze into this picture and become lost in the moment. Maybe if I keep sensing the rain, some will fall on Texas! :-) Larissa

enchantedengland:

original-unicorn:Forever reblog because this photo calls to me; cold and rainy weather be damned.
enchantedengland: I imagine you know this is London. It has rained all day here and I LOVE IT (for NOW, anyway. First rain in over a month) Rain is so cosy and gives you an excuse to sit at home and go nowhere and tell people, “I don’t want to go out in this rain” and its a perfectly acceptable excuse!! Ha ha. Like slices of metal are pelting from the sky or something.

Awesome latte mugs from Laurel Burch. These have just gone out of production and I’m bummed. I have four of the cat ones and they are my favorite mugs for tea.
